Rogers
Field and Technical Support
Rogers
offers Field and Technical Services to help you reach the performance
expected over the life of your curing press. Rogers has many years of
experience in the design and operation of most brands of tire presses
including NRM, McNeil, Kobe, and of course Rogers' own SS1, SB1 and M
Class models.
Our Field
and Technical Support programs include:
- Documentation:
Orders for all Rogers presses and assembled components include a manual
with field installation and operation instructions.
- Plant
Installation Assistance - Rogers Engineers and Technical staff are
always available at our Akron, Ohio office to discuss by phone any press
operation issue. In addition Rogers can contract for on-site installation
assistance when requested. For press modifications or lighter jobs,
Rogers can usually contract for the entire installation.
- Field
Start-Up & Operation Assistance - We pride ourselves in supplying
a press or press component that can be up and running in a minimum amount
of time. We understand the impact of timely attainment of desired production
levels. Our Technical staff has expertise to help you with press operation
and trouble-shooting.
- Engineering
Studies - Rogers has the resources to evaluate any part of your
current tire curing operation. Our studies can cover problem solving,
process improvements, and performance analyses. Many of these studies
are made in conjunction with providing rebuilds, or new equipment as
a total solution
- Material
and Parts Testing - Rogers pioneered the "infinite life"
press and in doing so developed capabilities to properly analyze press
components. Our programs such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) are available
to test for structural integrity and design. Other testing can be conducted
to evaluate press performance
